Meal Plans
In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following Meal Plans for the 2008-2009 academic years.
While living on campus students are required to have a meal plan. Meal plans are available to Students, Faculty, and Staff, including non traditional students, and commuter students. The selection of a Meal Plan entitles you to a Dining Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Meal Plans offer Safety, Security, & Value. There is no sales tax, Emory and Henry Dining pays the state sales tax for you! The following Plans are set up to swipe per meal:

The BEST VALUE!!! This plan is designed to for students who remain on campus throughout the week and weekend. You have access to every meal we serve throughout the semester. Brunch replaces breakfast and lunch on the weekends. This plan is also highly recommended for student athletes.
7 days - 19 meals per week - $140.00 *Flex Dollars per semester cash allowance may be used for lunch and dinner. Flex Dollars may be used for your guests.

Not a morning person? Can’t make it to Breakfast on a regular basis. This meal plan may be perfect for you.
7 days - 14 meals per week - $165.00 *Flex Dollars per semester cash allowance may be used for lunch and dinner. Flex Dollars may be used for your guests.
- Lunch Allowance: $3.75
- Dinner Allowance: $4.75

5 days - 5 meals per week - $115.00 *Flex Dollars and 5 Bonus Meals per semester.

*Flex is a prepaid declining balance account attached to the meal plans. Flex can also be purchased separately for non-residents, with an initial amount $100.00. Additional Flex for Meal Plans and Flex-only plans can be purchase in increments of $25.00

Do I have to buy a Meal Plan living on Campus?
The Meal Plan is required for all students residing on campus.

Where can I use my Flex Dollars?
Flex Dollars are accepted in The Hut, Café ala Cart, Emory Crossing Deli, and Van Dyke Student Restaurant.
Can I use my Flex Dollars next Semester?
Yes, Flex Dollars roll over from Fall Semester to Spring Semester only. After Spring Semester, these funds are no longer available or refundable.
What if I lose my Meal Card?
Report your lost or stolen Meal Card to the Dining Hall Office in the Van Dyke building. Once you’ve reported your card lost or stolen the computer will reject the use of your missing card. You will want to replace the card if not found at the Security Office for a Fee.
